Neyaashiinigmiing Traditional Powwow – Cape Croker Park – Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation
All are welcome at the 35th Annual Neyaashiinigmiing Traditional Powwow on August 16-18, 2019 at Cape Croker Park in Wiarton, Ontario, Canada. On the third weekend of August from Friday to Sunday, the Cape Croker Park will be host to the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation’s Annual Traditional Powwow. Powwows are a sacred gathering of indigenous peoples to honor the past, renew friendships and celebrate with music, song, dance, prayers and storytelling. Traditionally held in the spring, powwows are also a celebration of the end of winter and the rebirth of nature.
